Bahamas in a Bottle 🌴

I fell in love with Sunshine + Saltwater when I first stumbled across their perfume oils at a boutique during a visit to Punta Gorda, Florida. I picked up the Seas the Day perfume oil at the boutique and loved it so much that I decided to order more online (two sets of Island Girl perfume oil + body mist and Sunshine + Saltwater perfume oil + body mist).

Island Girl is super subtle and unfortunately doesn’t last more than an hour or so on me, especially compared to Seas the Day and Sunshine + Saltwater, which have much better longevity. That said, I still really enjoy wearing Island Girl at home or at work when I need a little pick-me-up. It gives me that little burst of vacation energy and makes me feel like I’ve been transported to the Bahamas for a brief moment. 🏝️

My order was processed and shipped out quickly, but unfortunately, the parcel was held up at my local post office for quite some time. Hopefully, my next order goes a little more smoothly!

Overall, I’m really enjoying these scents and can definitely see myself ordering from Sunshine + Saltwater again.

I find the smell does not last very long

I find the smell does not last very long. People around me can't smell it.And when I lift my arm to em my wrist to smell, they can't smell anything.So i'm just not satisfied with it at all

I’m sorry Island Girl didn’t have the longevity you were hoping for. Our rollerballs are alcohol-free perfume oils, and fragrance can wear very differently depending on individual skin chemistry. I love the scent! But it doesn't seem to last long

I love the scent! But the roll-on doesn't seem to last long. I tried the body mist in a store and it lasted the entire day. I will purchase the mist as soon as it available.

The rollerballs are a little more subtle since they’re oil-based, so they tend to wear closer to the skin. The body mist definitely gives you that stronger, all-day scent you noticed in the shop.

I think you’re going to LOVE the mist when it’s back — it’s such a good one for Island Girl
